Is Near Bear safe for my child?
Yes. Near Bear (Model NB-001) has been independently tested and certified to Australian toy safety standards:
- AS/NZS ISO 8124.1:2023 — Mechanical and physical properties
- AS/NZS ISO 8124.2:2023 — Flammability
- AS/NZS ISO 8124.3:2021 — Migration of certain elements
- Australian Consumer Protection Notice No.11 of 2011 — DEHP content
Age suitability
Near Bear is suitable from birth. For babies under 12 months, use during supervised awake time and play only. In line with Red Nose Australia's safe sleep guidelines, Near Bear should always be removed from the cot or bassinet when your baby is sleeping unsupervised.
Photo insert
Always ensure the photo insert is securely in place before giving Near Bear to a child. Keep the insert out of reach of children when not in the bear. Adult supervision is recommended for children under 3 years.
